The Arduino Box (Interactive Design - Arduino, Processing, Piezo Elements, Balsa Wood, and Wires)

The Arduino Box translates the noise created through the viewer's interaction with the box into the change in the visual aspect of the room. The chaotic nature of noise is remapped into an orderly system (the animation of the elastically connected circles). The interacton with viewers can thus both be direct and indirect. The Arduino box responds to its parts (circular piezo elements) being shifted across the floor. Inside the Arduino box is an Arudino microcontroller.
