Tennis Court Donation
The Athletic Department needs contributions for the resurfacing of the 12 tennis courts. The bond measure money from the district has been spent on the synthetic turf athletic field, all weather track, new weight room, new pool, new floor and bleachers in the large gym and new softball and baseball field. There is no more money left. The tennis courts remain in serious need of total resurfacing at an approximate cost of a quarter of a million dollars.
All donations to the tennis court resurface FUND should be sent to the LAHS Athletic Booster; PO Box 1144, Los Altos 94023.
Winter Training
The swimming, baseball and track teams have all started winter training in preparation for their spring season. Conditioning is designed to minimize injuries that result from rushing into a season too quickly. By slowly building up workouts, athletes will get in shape before the season actually starts.
